Mila's sane, focused and humane approach to organizational change was an inspiration to those of us who worked with her. Her contributions to the World Bank's change efforts professionalized OD at the Bank. I remember fondly her welcoming newcomers at the OD Network conferences, as she shared her insights, experiences, victories, and challenges in corporate OD. Whenever we ran into each other, we took up where we left off. I am so sad to hear of her sudden passing, and I will miss her.

I am shocked and distressed to hear this news. I met Mila and Clarence at Pfizer. Mila was a mentor, and openly shared her extensive knowledge. She opened the door for me to get a job teaching at NYU one Summer. My husband and I enjoyed their hospitality at their place in Naples, Fl. I enjoyed hearing about her sons. Mila will be greatly missed.

I am so sad to hear this news. Mila was a wonderful practitioner, supporter of newbies and an insatiable learner. I echo Amy Kates' comment that she spoke adoringly and proudly of her sons. I am so sorry for your loss.

There are people who come into your life at just the right time. Mila was one of those people. I had the fortune to work with her, learn from her and be a changed person because of her. She truly believed in leaving everyone she met in a better situation and I will be forever grateful for my time with her. Although it's been more than 10 years since we worked together, it seemed
like only a day anytime we reconnected. Our world is forever less because of her absence. My heart goes to Clarence, her boys and those beautiful grandbabies. I'm so thankful to have had her in my life. Rest peacefully Mila

I am so shocked and saddened to hear this news. I met Mila over 15 years ago when I became involved in the Organization Design Forum. She was a board member then and I remember how she was so welcoming to me as a young consultant. She was a talented OD professional and a true life long learner. I was so happy to see that she had passed on her wisdom through her recent book. Though I knew her only professionally, what I remember so fondly is the way in which she talked about her sons - her love and pride always shone through. My two sons were much younger and I was inspired by her as a mother. Mila touched many of us, making us better people. My heart breaks for her family.

In the short time I have known Mila I have been floored by her willingness to mentor and support me as an entrepreneur. I was excited to be getting to know her better and I am deeply saddened to hear of her passing. She lived an incredible life and touched many along the way. I am grateful to have known her.

Mila was an inspiration. I first met her when she invited me to be one of the executive coaches in the first Pfizer Global Coaches program, and every interaction with her over the years deepened my appreciation of her. We talked a lot about organizational design and the world of work, always with a fresh and inspiring perspective. I am deeply saddened by news of her untimely death.

Mila inspired me at a crucial time in my life, when I was facing a critical crossroads, which gave me the courage and vision and non-judgment, - she felt my passion and fed it. As I sit in my home in Johannesburg, I have Mila's comfort and inspiration to thank. Blessings and comfort to her family - know what an amazing gift she was to every life she touched.

I met Mila at a BK event in SF where I won a bottle of wine. Not wanting to lug it back to NJ, Mila agreed to help me "dispose" of it. It was beautiful day, and we drank outside and realized that we had much in common. We ended up talking and laughing for hours after helping the bar dispose of some their wine. We kept in touch and worked on one of the retreats together. She was funny, kind, wise, and one of the people I called to bounce ideas off of. I'll miss her.
